Sister Maura Brannick Health Center provides primary healthcare services to uninsured residents of St. Joseph County. They do not accept Medicare, Medicaid or patients with health insurance. Their focus is on the unemployed or working poor, providing services for those that fall below 150% of the federally designated poverty level.

Free Services
• Pregnancy Testing: Results in just minutes.
• Pregnancy Verification: If you test positive for pregnancy, we will provide you with a “proof of pregnancy” needed to receive medical care and other social services.
• Ultrasounds: If you are pregnant, we recommend receiving a free ultrasound at our center. This will help determine whether the pregnancy is viable and how far along you are.
• Counseling: Our social workers and counselors are available to work with any pregnant woman to help create a personalized pregnancy plan. Supportive counseling is also available throughout your pregnancy.
• 24-hour hotline: A counselor is available 24 hours to address your concerns and answer your questions. Call our 24 hour toll-free hotline at 877-908-2341.
• Parenting classes: Parenting/life skills classes are offered free of charge at most locations. Click here for parenting class times by location. Please call ahead as some classes fill up quickly and pre-registration may be required.
• Crib Club/BABE: The Crib Club/BABE program provides cribs, diapers, clothing and other baby items under an incentive system that rewards participation in parenting classes, prenatal care and other valuable programs.
