Dolores L. Peck Art Scholarship
Dolores Peck, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother was a weekly Right to Life Michiana office volunteer for more than thirty years. She had an abiding interest and love of many forms of art and of promoting the Christian obligation to protect the sacred gift of life in all of its moments.
Dolores passed away at age 85 on September 3, 2018. She and her surviving husband of sixty-five years, John, were longtime active members of St. Therese, Little Flower Catholic Church in South Bend where they served on various ministries and commissions of the church. Dolores's legacy will continue to inspire the next generation of pro-lifers through this generous scholarship endowment. Her cheerful and steadfast presence will be celebrated for years to come through the annual awarding of these art scholarships.
The Dolores L. Peck Art Scholarship encourages young adults to use their creativity to advocate for the pro-life cause. Each year, two high school student artists will be honored with $750 scholarships to be put toward expenses incurred while continuing education.
The guidelines and prompt for the scholarship this year are posted in the link below, so if you have a love for life and a gift in art, click the links below and we look forward to reviewing your submissions.
