Pro-Life Youth Essay Contest

"Yes, I take abortion very personally. I was scheduled to be aborted on February 18, 2003 at 9 am that morning. I thank God for giving my mother the wisdom and strength to cancel the procedure."

-2017 Entry

Each year, Right to Life Michiana sponsors a youth essay contest, cultivating pro-life leadership at a young age by encouraging students to articulate pro-life truth with compassion. The contest gives students the chance to practice expressing their beliefs and think critically about the real-life consequences that stem from a disregard for the value of human life.

Our 2021 prompt asks:

"Why is it inaccurate to call abortion "essential healthcare"? How can we challenge the abortion industry's narrative that abortion is healthcare?
